Brassy, antiquated light switch and outlet plates... paint or replace?

This is the best thing I was ever able to do in my apartment.

We can't wait to close on our dream house on September 30th. We have so many ideas and a lot of work to do, but it will be so much fun to update that 70s style and truly make it our own.
